Integration mapping templates

These templates are assigned to Data Object Mappings whose target is an Integration-Layer Data Vault object (Hub, Link, or Satellite). They come in two flavours:

  • View templates represent the Integration Layer virtually, on top of the Persistent Staging Area. Use these for rapid prototyping or a virtual data warehouse.
  • Stored-procedure templates materialise the Integration Layer as physical tables, loaded incrementally via a control framework. Use these for a physical data warehouse deployment.
